Filé Mignon ao Molho de Alcaparras e Nozes

INGREDIENTS

1 cleaned filet mignon (approximately 1.2kg)

4 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup capers

1/2 cup walnuts

2 tablespoons chopped green olives
 

PREPARATION

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over high heat and brown the meat on all sides without piercing it. Transfer to a baking dish, season with salt and pepper, and bake in a preheated oven at 180º C (350º F) for 25 minutes.

Let it rest and slice. For the sauce, blend all the ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour over the meat and, if desired, garnish with walnuts. Serve.
