INGREDIENTS
- Pork Chop
1 kg ground beef chuck
Salt and black pepper to taste
400 g coarsely grated mozzarella
- Sauce
1 chopped onion
1 diced bell pepper
2 crushed garlic cloves
1 and 1/2 sachets tomato sauce
2 tablespoons butter
Cherries to taste
PREPARATION
Grind your kilo of beef chuck twice. This will make it firmer and more uniform, and it won't fall apart. Season with salt and black pepper to taste and mix well. You can even use your hands to ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed.
Take a piece of ground beef in your hand, shape it into small balls, and open it. Place mozzarella in the center and close it around it. Shape the pork chop again into discs.
In a hot skillet with a drizzle of olive oil, brown the meatballs on each side. Set aside.
For the sauce, combine the butter, onion, garlic, and bell pepper in a pan and sauté well. Then add the tomato sauce and parsley and stir until thickened.
Finally, place the meatballs in a baking dish, top with the sauce, and crumble the mozzarella on top. Bake until golden brown and finish baking for about 20 minutes.
